Where the hands-on hours happen

Classroom academies, salons and spas accredited to deliver practical hours to the network standard: what accreditation means, the standards, the yearly audit, the badge on the listing engines, and how to apply.

Where the hands-on hours happen

Online theory is the half of a trade qualification that online does well. The other half — a facial on a real face, a massage under a tutor's eye, a manicure timed against a clock — needs a room, a tutor and a standard. Partner schools are the academies, salons and spas accredited to deliver those hours to the network's written standard, audited every year, and badged on the network's listing engines so that students and employers can find them.

What accreditation means

A partner school has been visited, has adopted the network's practical syllabus for each pathway it teaches, keeps a logged hours record per student that we can verify, employs tutors with verified industry experience, and meets hygiene and safety standards we publish. It does not mean government approval — where a regulator approves a school, we say so separately.

What partners get

Students referred from the pathways pages and the course finder in their country; the Institute's theory content for their students at a partner rate; a badge and a listing on SpasWorldwide.com, SpasIndia.com, SalonsIndia.com and the relevant engine; graduates entered on the register employers search; and the right to issue the network's practical certificate alongside their own.

What it costs

An accreditation fee covering the visit and the yearly audit, and a per-student fee for the theory content. Both are set per country and published to applicants; there is no commission on the school's own fees.

Apply

Read the standards, then apply. Employers who want to host practical hours without running courses use the employer hub instead.

Questions

Is my regulator's approval required?

No, but it is recorded. Students in licensed markets need regulator-approved hours; we tell them which partners hold that approval.

Can a salon be a partner school?

Yes, for the pathways it can teach with a dedicated tutor and a training room or reserved chairs. Many beautician and nail partners are salons.
